This contest was judged by a panel of judges including: 1) Sue Silverman: Sue William Silverman’s memoir Love Sick: One Woman’s Journey Through Sexual Addiction (W. W. Norton) is a Lifetime television original movie. Her first memoir, Because I Remember Terror, Father, I Remember You (University of Georgia Press), won the Association of Writers and Writing Programs award in creative nonfiction. One of her essays appears in The Touchstone Anthology of Contemporary Nonfiction: Work from 1970 to the Present (Simon & Schuster), while three others won contests with Hotel Amerika, Mid-American Review, and Water~Stone Journal. She teaches in the MFA in Writing Program at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
