 Technical Requirements Students need reliable Internet access and a PC or Mac computer. Students should have some knowledge of how to download and upload files, use a discussion board, and click links on the inernet. We use a private Google group as our platform. Students will receive an invitation to the group before class begins.
Coursework and Instruction You can expect to spend an average of 10 hours a week on coursework, including accessing lecture materials created by your instructor, completing and submitting assignments electronically, commenting on classmates work, and reading supplementary materials. For your convenience, you can access your coursework anytime. Most online courses follow a workshop format, with feedback from the instructor and dialogue with your fellow students. Classes have limited enrollment, allowing you to get to know your instructor and fellow students personally. Once your course begins, you should log on once a day to access any new e-mail notes.
